Website Analytics
I set up measurement that respects your visitors' consent, check that it records what you think it records, and explain the numbers in plain language.

The problem, and what I do about it
You have a dashboard full of numbers but cannot say which ones matter or whether they are accurate.
I agree the few questions your business needs answered, then set up reporting around them and leave the rest out.
You are not sure what your site records about visitors, or whether analytics runs before people have agreed to it.
I set up analytics so it loads only according to the consent a visitor gives, and I document what is collected and why.
You cannot tell whether enquiries, bookings or purchases are being counted, so you cannot judge what is working.
I define what counts as an enquiry, booking or purchase, set up tracking for it and test it against real submissions.

What you get out of it
You know what your website records, you can trust the numbers, and you can answer basic questions about what is working without guessing.
Who it’s for
- You have a site with no analytics, or analytics installed years ago that nobody has checked.
- You run a service business and want to know which pages lead to enquiries and where visitors give up.
- You are about to relaunch or migrate a site and need a measured starting point to compare against.
- You work with a marketing person or agency and want to understand their reports, or check them.
If you already have trustworthy data and the question is why visitors do not act, conversion optimisation is the better starting point. If your concern is rankings and search visibility rather than site behaviour, search and AI visibility work covers Search Console as part of its wider scope.
What’s included
Measurement plan
A short list of the questions you need answered and the events and pages that answer them.
Analytics setup
Google Analytics configured for your site and the events you actually need, with the rest left switched off.
Consent handling
Tracking that waits for the visitor's choice, with the privacy notice and cookie wording checked against what the site really does.
Search Console
Google Search Console connected and verified, so you can see how your site appears in search and which pages have problems.
Goal and form tracking
Enquiry forms, bookings or purchases counted, then checked with test submissions against what reaches your inbox.
Plain-language reporting
A short report that says what happened, what is uncertain and what to look at next, without jargon.
How it works
Ask
We list what you need to know and what you already collect, and I check what the site records today.
Set up
I configure the tools, the consent behaviour and the events, on a copy of the site first where that is possible.
Test
I run through the key journeys, compare what is recorded with what actually happened and fix mismatches.
Explain
I walk you through the first report and show you how to read it yourself.
Questions people ask

Do I need a cookie banner for Google Analytics?
It depends on where your visitors are and on how the tool is configured. I set analytics up so it follows the visitor's consent choice, and I check the wording matches what the site does. For legal advice on your obligations, ask a lawyer.
Why do my analytics numbers not match my enquiries?
Common causes are consent choices that stop tracking, forms that fire an event on click rather than on a completed submission, and enquiries that arrive by phone or email. I test the journey end to end to find which applies.
Can I just use Search Console instead of analytics?
Search Console shows how your site appears in Google search. Analytics shows what visitors do once they arrive. They answer different questions, and many sites use both.
Will you manage my reports every month?
I can set up the reporting and teach you to read it. Whether I produce it on an ongoing basis is something we agree separately, and it is never required.
Tell me what you need to achieve.
We can work out the right next step before committing to a solution. You can book this on its own. An ongoing partnership is optional, never a requirement.
