Don Barber & Groom
A mobile-first website for Don Barber & Groom
I build and set up multilingual websites so each language version is correct, findable and kept up to date. Disclosure: I am a Weglot partner, and I also work with WPML.
New v6 draft from the service brief, awaiting review
Customers in another language leave because the site only speaks to one audience.
I decide with you which audiences and pages need a language version first, and set up clear routing and a language switch that remembers the choice.
You have tried translating pages, but language links, search results or forms behave inconsistently.
I configure language-specific URLs, hreflang, translated metadata and forms, then test the full journey in each language.
Nobody owns the translations, so the language versions drift out of date after the first launch.
I agree who reviews and approves changes in each language, so the workflow outlasts the launch.

A website that serves each audience in their own language, with a clear process for keeping every version accurate.
If you only need a handful of pages translated once, a copywriter or translator and a standard website may be enough. If your main concern is search visibility in one language, technical SEO is the closer service.
Which languages, which pages first, and what each audience needs to do on the site.
Language-specific URLs and a switcher that takes visitors to the equivalent page.
hreflang, translated titles and descriptions, and a keyword and page map for each language where agreed.
Automated first drafts with human review for commercially important content, and a named owner for each language.
Form labels, error messages and confirmation emails checked in every language.
Navigation, calls to action and layouts tested on a phone, since translated text often runs longer.
We agree audiences, priority pages, translation ownership and the tool or plugin that fits.
We correct the original content and agree terminology before it is translated.
I configure the setup, URLs and metadata, and the translations are drafted and reviewed.
I test each language end to end, then document the process for updates.
Draft answers, to confirm
It can be, particularly for a quick set-up with automated translation and human review. I am a Weglot partner, so I recommend it where it suits the project, and I will tell you when WPML or another approach fits better.
Language-specific URLs, hreflang and translated metadata give each version a chance to be found. They do not guarantee rankings, and each page still needs useful content for its audience.
For anything that affects a decision, such as services, conditions, prices and forms, yes. Automated drafts can read well while changing the meaning.
That is best agreed before launch. I help you set the process, and the owner is usually someone on your team or a translator you trust.
We can work out the right next step before committing to a solution. You can book this on its own. An ongoing partnership is optional, never a requirement.
