Let's talk

AI consultant in Mauritius

I help businesses in Mauritius work out where AI is worth using, then build and integrate it with the website, tools and workflows they already have. Strategy and implementation, with clear limits.

Why work with me

What I can help with

Each piece can be bought on its own. The service pages cover each kind of work in more detail, and its limits.

AI-ready Websites

  • Opportunity assessment

A review of where AI could save time or improve service in your business, and where it would not be worth the cost or risk.

  • Automation and integration

Connecting the tools your team already uses, with AI only for the steps that need it.

  • Chatbots

Answers to customer questions from content you have approved, with a person on hand for the rest.

  • Agents with human handover

Multi-step work prepared by AI and approved by your team before anything is sent.

  • AI features on your website

Practical features for visitors, such as assistants and smarter site search, connected to your own information.

Practical opportunities for Mauritian organisations

Examples, not client results

  • Enquiries in a shared inbox

Sorting incoming enquiries and drafting a first reply for a person to check and send.

  • Questions your website already answers

An assistant that answers from your own approved pages and hands anything else to your team.

  • Details copied between systems

Moving booking or order details between the tools you use, often with conventional automation and no AI at all.

Each situation is different. Before anything is built we agree what data the tool may use, where it is processed, what consent covers it and who reviews its output.

Where this work stands

AI work is a standalone service. My client AI work in Mauritius is in progress and is not published yet, so this page shows no AI case studies.

When I show examples, I will say clearly which are my own prototypes, which are delivered client work and which rely on collaborators.

How we start

  1. Describe a real task

Tell me what takes time, what goes wrong or what customers ask. No technical brief needed.

  2. Review the process, tools, data and constraints

I look at how the task is done today, the systems involved, the data it touches and any limits you work within.

  3. Recommend a way forward

That may be an AI pilot, conventional automation, or no AI at all. You get the reasons and the risks in writing.

  4. Agree scope, privacy and responsibilities

We agree what will be built, what data it may use, where it is processed and who on your side reviews its output.

  5. Test before wider use

A small working version is tested on your own examples, so you can judge it before relying on it.

Questions from businesses in Mauritius

Draft answers for review

Do I need to know which AI tool I want?

No. Describe the task and I will recommend the approach. The tool follows from the task, not the other way round.

Can AI work with the systems we already use?

Often, but it depends on what each system allows. I check the integrations and access available before recommending anything, and say plainly when a connection is not practical.

Will customer data be sent to an AI provider?

Only if we agree it should be. Before anything is built we decide what data the tool may use, which provider processes it, where and for how long. Some tasks are better left without AI because of this.

Can it work in English and French?

Many AI tools handle both languages. How well a given tool does with your content is something we test on your own examples before you rely on it.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the task and the approach. I set out the scope and cost after the assessment, before any work starts, and a recommendation not to use AI is a valid outcome.

What if AI is not the right answer?

Then I will tell you, and suggest what would work better, whether that is conventional automation, a change of process or leaving things as they are.

Is this the same as AI search visibility?

No. AI search visibility is about how tools such as ChatGPT describe your business. This page is about using AI inside your business and on your website.

Can you build an AI agent that runs on its own?

I build scoped tools with clear limits and human checks. I do not offer fully autonomous agents that act without supervision.

Have a task AI might help with?

Describe it in a few lines. I will tell you honestly whether AI is the right tool before we discuss anything else.
