One-off Website Support
I take on single fixes and small changes to your website, bought on their own with no contract. That includes sites I did not build.
New v6 draft from the service brief, awaiting review
The problem
- Something on the site is broken or wrong, such as a form, a layout glitch or a plugin error, and you just want it fixed.
- You need a small change made, such as a new page section, an integration tweak or a content edit, and do not have a developer on call.
- You were told you need a monthly plan when you only need one job done.
What I do about it
- I look at the problem, tell you what I think is wrong and what the fix involves, and fix that one thing.
- I agree the change before I start, make it carefully and check the affected pages and forms afterwards.
- You buy the job on its own. There is no retainer, and nothing obliges you to carry on afterwards.

What you get out of it
The specific problem is fixed or the change is made, and you carry on without any further commitment.
Who it’s for
- You have a specific problem on your website and want it resolved without signing up to anything.
- You have a developer or agency already and need extra hands on a front end issue, a design change or a feature.
- Your site was built by someone else and they are no longer available.
- You manage content yourself, and want help with the occasional change that goes beyond editing text.
If you keep needing small fixes, website maintenance or wordpress maintenance covers routine care. If the site is locked, hacked or badly broken, website rescue and recovery is a better starting point.
What’s included
Diagnosis
I find the cause of the problem first, so the fix targets it rather than a guess.
Bug fixes
Forms that do not send, display problems, plugin conflicts and errors after an update.
Small changes
Content edits, page changes, new sections and minor layout adjustments within the agreed scope.
Working with your team
I can take on a front end task, design change or specific feature and work alongside your existing developer.
Safe changes
A backup or copy first where the platform allows, then checks on the affected pages and forms.
How it works
Tell me
You describe the problem or change, and send screenshots or access details if useful.
Scope
I confirm what I will do and what is outside the job, and I say if it needs something larger.
Fix
I make the change, with a backup taken first where possible.
Check and hand back
I test the result and send you a short note of what changed and anything to watch.
Questions people ask
Draft answers, to confirm
Can you fix a website you did not build?
Often, yes. I look at what is there first and tell you what is realistic before I start.
Do I need a monthly plan?
No. One-off work is bought on its own. If you later want regular care, that is a separate decision.
What counts as a small job?
A bug fix, a content or layout change, or a contained feature. If the work turns out to be bigger, I will say so and explain the options.
What do you need from me to start?
A description of the problem, the page it happens on, and access to the site or hosting where needed. Screenshots help.

We can work out the right next step before committing to a solution. You can book this on its own. An ongoing partnership is optional, never a requirement.
