Don Barber & Groom

A mobile-first website for Don Barber & Groom

Teal pedicure chairs in a wood-panelled grooming salon.

I joined KOMMIGRAPHICS’ development team to improve Don Barber & Groom’s mobile experience, booking enquiries, online shop, and Greek-English content.

Context and brief

The Athens grooming and wellness business needed a website that better served visitors using their phones. Its earlier site had limited mobile usability and did not support English, creating gaps for international clients exploring services or looking to make a booking.

The redesign brought those needs together with the presentation of grooming products through an online shop.

My contribution

My work focused on booking-form configuration, chat integration, WPML setup and testing, mobile layout refinement, and e-commerce UX improvements. KOMMIGRAPHICS had defined the project’s functional requirements and technical direction before development began.

I configured Contact Form 7 to capture service choices, preferred times, and additional requests, and integrated Intercom for visitor questions. I also supported the WooCommerce layouts and bilingual setup, working from mobile screens upwards.

What was delivered

The delivered website combined service information, booking enquiries, product browsing, and Greek-English navigation within a shared interface. The booking form collected service preferences, requested times, and additional details for the team to handle.

The project brought mobile use into the centre of the development process. It gave the business a broader set of online routes for communicating with visitors, from reading about a treatment to asking a question or exploring products.
